AI Safety Collaborate with UniMelb for its First Prototype

AI Safety is working with UniMelb to develop a system to monitor construction sites while preserving privacy continuously.

Construction incidence represents 12% of all serious claims made in Australia and is the second-largest segment behind Health Care and Social Assistance (Safework 2020). Many of these incidences could be prevented by following proper procedures. Unfortunately, Australia’s construction industry is characterised by multi-level systems of contracting and long working hours, which makes continuous monitoring of compliance and safety hazards on site almost impossible.
